We were contracted to design and construct a feature flight of steps at The Beacon pub and restaurant in Tunbridge Wells.
The steps are the main access to the gardens and additionally serve as a photo opportunity for weddings, which are held at the venue.
The step walls were built using Wealden sandstone walling to compliment the historic stone walling which features throughout the grounds.
Clay pavers from Chelmer Valley Paving were laid in a herringbone pattern to create the step treads.
Lighting was included in the side walls so that guests can safely access the steps during the evening.
